Andrea Boll is a writer, educator, and mother, but not necessarily in that order. Originally from the West Coast, she has lived in New Orleans for over 15 years. Andrea believes education should be a source of liberation and empowerment for students, deepening their understanding of themselves, their families, and their communities. At JCFA, she works to make this happen in her classroom as much as possible. When she’s not teaching, you might find her in a garden, taking dance classes, riding a bike with her daughter through Gentilly, working on her next book, or reading something, usually fiction.
