What grades and ages does JCFA serve?
JCFA serves students grades 9-12, ages 15-21.
What areas does JCFA serve?
JCFA has four campuses: JCFA-East in Jefferson, JCFA-West in Harvey, JCFA-Lafayette, and JCFA-East Baton Rouge. Students in surrounding parishes are encouraged to contact the closest JCFA campus via phone or email info@jcfa.co for more information.
Does JCFA charge tuition?
No, JCFA is a tuition-free, fee-free public charter high school.
What is JCFA’s class schedule?
Students attend JCFA year-round. Students attend classes from 9AM-1245PM or 915-1PM depending on the campus. Our schedule is year-round and focuses on flexibility. You can see our academic calendar here:

What are JCFA classes like?
JCFA provides an individualized, computer-based curriculum in a small environment. Students have direct support from teachers and in-class tutors, as well as a student support team.
How long does it take to earn a diploma at JCFA?
A student working on pace can graduate in less than three years, but they also have the flexibility to adjust that timeline to meet their non-academic needs.
Does JCFA offer transportation?
JCFA offers students free passes for regional public transit systems. JCFA does not provide bussing to campuses. Please contact your local campus for more information or email info@jcfa.co
